Last Minute Predictions for Hell in a Cell

Hey everyone, this week I'm giving my predictions for the upcoming Raw exclusive pay-per-view, Hell in a Cell which will air on Oct. 30 at the TD Garden in Boston (Sasha's hometown). This Hell in a Cell will be unlike any other, as there will be a triple main event, all three of which will be championship Hell in a Cell matches.

Hell in a Cell Match Card

  • Pre-show: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, and Sin Cara vs. Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, and Ariya Daivari

  • Bayley vs. Dana Brooke

  • Enzo and Cass vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

  • Raw Tag Team Championship: The New Day vs. Cesaro and Sheamus

  • Cruiserweight Championship: TJ Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick

  • United States Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Rusev (HIAC)

  • Raw Women's Championship: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (HIAC)

  • WWE Universal Championship: Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins (HIAC)

Pre-show: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, and Sin Cara vs. Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, and Ariya Daivari

I'm not gonna lie to you. The only person of real interest in this match is Cedric Alexander, so his team better win.

My pick: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, and Sin Cara

Bayley vs. Dana Brooke

Bayley and Dana Brooke have gotten into a pretty decent rivalry on the last few weeks of Raw. Despite that injury scare on Raw two weeks ago, Bayley should be good to go in this match and I'm assuming this feud is set up for her to get back into the title picture.

My pick: Bayley

Enzo and Cass vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Gallows and Anderson haven't exactly been successful in their WWE run. Since losing to The New Day over a month ago, they have continued to fail in their pursuit to be the dominant tag team of the WWE. When the duo attacked Enzo and Cass, it looked like they were becoming that dangerous and ruthless team they were originally when they first debuted. But after two losses in individual matches to Enzo and Cass, it doesn't look like the tag team will do much at Hell in a Cell.

My pick: Enzo and Cass

Raw Tag Team Championship: The New Day vs. Cesaro and Sheamus

I'm genuinely and happily surprised that The New Day are still the champs and still able to keep their gimmick fresh. That being said, we all know the saying, "All good things must come to an end." Hell in a Cell may prove to be the day when their glorious title reign, which will be at 434 days on Sunday, ends. Despite the fact that Sheamus and Cesaro spend most of their time arguing with each other, the two's win on Raw earlier this week proved they can actually win if they stop and focus. While I would have preferred Gallows and Anderson to be the ones who took the belts from The New Day, the idea that a bickering team could capture the tag team gold over such a united team as our lovable New Day could make for an interesting storyline.

My pick: Cesaro and Sheamus

Cruiserweight Championship: TJ Perkins vs. Brian Kendrick

TJ Perkins is a young kid, who has gone from living in his car to winning WWE's Cruiserweight Classic and becoming the Cruiserweight champ. But Brian Kendrick is a desperate man who needs the Cruiserweight title to show that he is still worthy to be in a WWE ring. TJ Perkins has already defeated Brian Kendrick in their championship match at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view, but I believe the outcome will be different in this rematch.

My pick: Brian Kendrick

United States Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Rusev (HIAC)

I know a lot of the WWE Universe doesn't like the fact that Roman Reigns is being forced down their throats through his U.S. title reign, but it looks like he is still WWE's next choice for Cena's replacement (of course the wellness policy violation put a major damper on that). While Reigns may never get the huge pop he got at this year's Royal Rumble (before WWE Creative botched the finish), his U.S. title reign has helped repaired some of the damage, plus it's given Rusev star power to feud with leader of the Roman Empire.

My pick: Roman Reigns

WWE Universal Championship: Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins (HIAC)

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins will face off in a Hell in a Cell match! How exciting is that?! These two in a match alone are pretty excting, but putting in one of the most brutal structures built for a wrestling ring will take it to another level! While the build up to the match hasn't been the best, these two putting on what will hopefully be a truly physical match up will make up for that. Chris Jericho more than likely will be making an interfence on behalf of his "best friend," almost costing him the title and therefore further the division between the two and possibly leading up to them facing each other for the title.

My pick: Kevin Owens

Raw Women's Championship: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte (HIAC)

I believe Owens vs. Rollins will eb the most physical match of the night, but I'm gonna go ahead and say that these two women will be closing out the show (Mick Foley kind of let the cat out of bag), which might be a bit risky. Particularly after witnessing Mick Foley's speech on Raw during the contract signing (see video above), the bar is set pretty high for these two. While I'm not 100 percent sure if these two can fully pull off the match, (I mean we're talking about one of the most brutal matches in all of WWE history), I do believe that these two have earned the chance and honor to prove that they hang with the fellas. And if the past matches between Sasha and Charlotte are any indicator, they will again exceed expectations and continue to push the women's division to heights unseen. The way I see it, they'll be in Sasha's hometown and if Bayley wins earlier on the night, they might be setting up for the two friends to face each other for the title.

My pick: Sasha Banks
