The 3 Count: The 3 Burning Questions from WWE TV This Week

From Goldberg appearing on Raw again to the Wyatt Family possibly growing in numbers, this week was a busy one for WWE. So I'm asking the top three questions from WWE TV this week.

3. Where exactly is this tension between Daniel Bryan and The Miz going?

You might remember that a couple of months ago The Miz gave the best promo of his career by bashing Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack. Since then, Bryan and The Miz haven't exactly tried to hide their dislike of each other. Tensions between the two have been brewing over the past couple of weeks, but they hit a new level on Tuesday when Bryan announced that The Miz would not be on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series (see video above). Had this been a year or two ago, there would have been no doubt where this was headed, but Bryan is retired and with his history of concussions and seizures all out in the open, there's no way WWE would be letting him get in the ring...at least not anytime soon.

So where is this going? Will this lead to The Miz being traded to Raw? Is this setting him up for bigger feud? Is WWE setting up a play for Bryan to get back in the ring? The picture is still quite fuzzy now, but it certainly looks like it will be something big.

2. Is a Shield reunion in the near future?

There have been talks about the Shield reuniting for a couple of months now, but after the brand extension split up the former stable members, the reunion seemed less probable. However, the look between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns on Monday might be the first step in making it happen. If the faction does indeed reunite, it will more than likely be brief and will have to take place at a pay-per-view where both brand compete, the next two being Survivor Series and Royal Rumble. Since Reigns and Rollins are on Team Raw and set to face their former "brother" Ambrose of Team SmackDown, they probably won't unite there. If not Survivor Series, Royal Rumble would be the perfect opportunity for the trio to get back together.

1. So Randy Orton really is part of the Wyatt Family???

While Orton has built a career as a single's competitor, he's been in his share of factions (my favorite was Evolution). However, I would have never guessed him joining the Wyatt Family. Orton has built his career off of being a cold, calculating, vicious, and at times, demented wrestler, while Bray Wyatt and his Family are just plain creepy. I mean, the man speaks in riddles, calls himself " The Eater of Worlds," and has the mantra of "Follow the buzzards" (I still don't know what that means).

While their styles don't perfectly match, I'm certainly not opposed to this new alliance, but it must remain exactly that - an alliance. In order for this to work, Orton cannot become a hypnotized/brainwashed member of Wyatt Family. Otherwise, it will just feel like a re-run of Daniel Bryan's short stint with the Wyatts. Orton has to keep some elements of his identity, setting him apart from the cult, yet allowing him to join forces with them.
